Review of Fahrenheit 9/11
Have you ever began to work on a puzzle and were amazed at all the different parts that you would have to bring together to make it a complete picture? The bigger puzzles would take time and diligence to put together‚ and to get the picture that was on the front of the box you would need complete silence.

Enter Director Michael Moore and his film Fahrenheit 9/11. From the very beginning of the film you sense that he is a master puzzle maker‚ but the picture he slowly begins to produce is one that is most disturbing. The film follows the Bush family‚ and in particular one George W. Bush and his ascension to the Presidency. Mr. Moore brings into question the very legitimacy of President Bush’s election over Al Gore. A fact he backs up with footage showing the objectives given by person after person. His next objective is linking the Bush administration to the Saudi government. The very government that fifteen out of the nineteen highjacker’s came from. To my surprise (and I’m sure some of yours also) it is a very lengthy relationship‚ and one he chronicles quite well.

It isn’t long until he takes you to the very day of 9/11 and exposes more of the behind the scene going ons that the American public is not usually privy to. This link takes us to the war in Iraq‚ and all the emotion that goes along with it. He accomplishes this emotional mosaic by talking to the very soldiers themselves. The reactions to the war are as varied as opinion here on the war‚ but he gets the most out of.

Michael Moore does a wonderful job in bringing new information to the table. One of my only concerns is the power of one man’s perspective of events tainting what is a documentary. You see‚ Michael Moore himself has said that he doesn’t care for this administration. Please take that into account when you see this movie. I would still recommend this film to anyone who asked for the simple fact that information is power‚ and he gives you bunches of information. There are many facts that he brings up that he clearly brings together in convincing fashion.

For a documentary, this film elicits great amounts of laughter as he shows the President and his staff in a whole new light. The soundtrack of the film only serves to mesh everything together‚ and I can remember no other film that used this so convincingly to get a point across. Yes‚ I highly recommend this so see it now. It is sure to be a winner during Academy time.
