There are some films that are a complete waste of times‚ and low and behold this is one of them. What happens when you take away the originality of the first film‚ and the twisted comedy of the second? You get this water-downed mess that hopefully signals the end of this train ride.
David Zucker (Airplane) takes over the reigns of this film from the Wayan brothers. As with most things that are used someone forgot to leave the operating manual on how to make this film funny. The tongue in cheek humor he uses at times works ‚ but more often than not it doesn’t.
This time out Cindy (Anna Farris) must investigate strange crop-circles‚ aliens‚ and death dealing video tapes. Even this time out her innocence comes through. If only she had the film to actually display those talents. We are also awarded with Charlie Sheen doing his best deadpan humor. A total waste of time‚ money‚ and resources.
