Maybe one of the best martial arts films of all time. That about sums up the review. Just kidding. The movie introduces us to the greatest warrior(Li Mu Bai) of all time who just happens to possess the green destiny. He is giving up his warrior ways because of all the blood shed associated with it. It is also suggested throughout the film that he is doing it out of love for a women. When the green dragon is stolen by the person that killed his master he must take up arms once again to destroy him. He is a master of Wudan, and apparently it gives you the ability to fly through trees, and do great acrobatics. Along the way his enemy has picked up a student who has secretly surpassed her masters skill. The fights are also about this young student who if taught correctly could become one of the greatest fighters of all time. The movie made several references to the position of women at that day, and time and the things they were supposedly suppose to do. Filled with unbelievable action scenes, and a good plot it is a must see.
