Ice Cube and Omar Epps star in All about the Benjamins, a story about two guys who are trying to get paid.  Ice Cube stars as Bucum Jackson (wonder if that is a play on words?) a bounty hunter who is almost as dangerous to the public as he is to his bounties.   Omar Epps is Reggie Wright a crook that is not as bad  his reputation makes him out to be.  When he (Reggie)  hits the lottery all of his problems should be solved, until he is targeted by Bucum for bail jumping.  While making a hasty escape he drops the ticket, and his wallet in the back of a truck that is being used in a jewel heist.

Bucum Jackson has big plans.  One day he would like to run his own detective agency.  The only problem is that he is broke.  When the job on Reggie comes up Bucum has a big decision to make, should he trust Reggie or should he turn him in on some much needed bail money.  The adventures ride high as the two try to figure out what is going on with sixty million in diamonds on the line, and maybe start a friendship neither on of them imagined.

This movie has the look, and feel of another comedy-  Bad Boys.

Most of the movie is shot in Miami, and the scenery is all sea shore, and beautiful locales.

This is Kevin Brayes second Directorial try according to IMDB.  His first was Savage Garden: Superstars and Cannonballs: Live and on Tour in Australia (2000) which can explain the sound track that kicks like it won't stop.  In all it was an enjoyable movie that is a better try than Next Friday.
